Created to honour a brave moment in our brandAos history, The Dalmore Valour Highland Single Malt is a pioneering assemblage of whiskies. The first in the world to be finished in both 30 year old Matusalem casks from Gonzalez Byass and Tawny Port pipes, it is a complex and elegant expression. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, it gives its first base of soft vanilla notes. The spirit is then carefully divided between port pipes from the Douro region of Portugal and Matusalem oloroso sherry casks, exclusively provided by the renowned by Gonzalez Byass Bodega. Here they are given an extended period of time to mature before they are reunited back together to harmonise in upstanding sherry butts. Together they provide an exceptional finish of pineapple, chocolate fudge, black forest fruits, coconut and figs. The perfect gift for a special moment.
