An elegant 21 year old Highland Single Malt whisky aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and casks, exclusive to The Dalmore, which have held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry. The precious liquid is initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is then transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry cask where it spends an extended period of maturation for a bold and complex flavour profile with notes of dark chocolate and hints of cinnamon and spice.
